Historic Dockyard Chatham
Client: Chatham Historic Dockyard
Chatham Historic Dockyard in Kent built ships for the English navy in the seventeenth century. The dockyard is a World Heritage Site and contains over 50 Grade I listed structures or Scheduled Ancient Monuments.
Mooney Kelly acted as project managers and quantity surveyors in a series of painstaking restorations of buildings, some of which were 300 years old. Liaison with English Heritage and a sympathetic approach to listed buildings were essential aspects of our role. |
